There is Nothing Better....

...than a man in a suit. There is also nothing better than a man in a christmas jumper but it's June so I can't really get excited about that yet. The fashionoholics of the world will know we are currently showcasing the one and only Menswear Fashion Week. First week was in London, last week Milan and now we are currently in Paris. I cannot wait to see what else there is to come, but however, so far I have seen some AmaHazing stuff already. Marc Jacobs (one of my personal favorites) kept it classic with light, crisp colours and Panama hats keeping the modern man smart, sophisticated and stylish. Whilst other designers such as Calvin Klein stepped back into the 90's with double denim. (p.s. If you haven't heard already the 90's are SO back and I am loving IT!) & so did Versace not stepping away from their iconic gold and black tones. I didn't complain one bit when watching the video for that catwalk show. Naked men in pants. Why not.

DOUBLE DENIM. I Say.

I may stand alone here but does anyone else thing double denim is a tad warm for Spring & Summer? No. Okay then.

Versace S/S 2013

Gucci was great too. Bright grass greens, reds & yellows. I have to say there is something about a man in a RED suit. Wow. And check the shoes. I want them.

Our London designers also stepped up to the mark (because we are the best) I really like the Christopher Kane collection as it's subtly in uniform with his womenswear resort '13 collection. I think they go together really well.

This tho.

Christopher Kane S/S 2013

To be honest I could easily sit here and write about every single show as they have all inspired me so much in their own little or big way, but there are too many to choose from. It's also Saturday morning and I haven't had breakfast yet. But there is time for one more. Another London designer (of course) Oliver Spencer. The thing I love (as many other people do) about Oliver Spencer is that he uses models thats are all ages and from various backgrounds for his presentations. Not just average your chiseled 20-something.
Using a diverse colour palette, Oliver Spencer has created a collection for the contemporary man. I absolutely love how each piece has its own language & tells a different story but still continues to melt together beautifully. IN LOVE.

Visit VOGUE.com for a full summary of all the latest shows and follow the rest of Menswear Fashion Week. If you don't feel like you want to straight after reading this, then there is clearly something wrong with you. Joke.

Happy Saturday. x
